According to research by SAP, 78 percent of businesses recognize the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in retaining customers. However, fewer than two in five companies share customer data across their customer experience platforms or CRM systems, a significant gap that can hinder effective customer engagement. The same study found that only 37 percent and 39 percent of businesses have access to unified customer data from multiple sources.
The deployment of agent-based commerce architecture is expected to address these challenges, enabling businesses to unify customer data and create more personalized experiences across their online and offline channels.
